SleepPhones are made with 100% polyester in the shape of a headband and are actually washable headphones! Although we do not recommend frequent washing of your SleepPhones due to increased likelihood of rusting, we understand that they need to be washed periodically. SleepPhones have been thoroughly tested for the washing, and we are pleased to report that they perform very well even after multiple washes.
Steps to washing your SleepPhones:

• Spot treat any stains with a gentle laundry detergent. No bleach please!
• Fill a sink with water.
• Mix in a gentle laundry detergent.
• Handwash your SleepPhones in the soapy water for 1 minute.
• Rinse under running water at least 5 times. Once free of detergent residues, gently squeeze dry.
• Further dry by squeezing against a dry towel.
• Place in front of a fan for 6 hours or air dry for 24 hours.

If not completely dry before use, the sound quality may be poor temporarily, but will not damage the SleepPhones.
No fabric softener or bleach please!
No drying in the heated dryer (lest the cord melt)!
